My first event of the day was participating in Democracy Day with the Gwinnett County Democratic Party. The turnout was great.
First we had a parade line up and we rode with police escort through Lawrenceville to Rhodes Jordan Park for a BBQ. We had a live band and good food and the weather cooperated too! I was so happy to see so many Democrats join us.
On Saturday afternoon I attended a book siging for the book “Blood at the Root/A Racial Cleansing in America” by former Forsyth County resident Patrick Phillips.
Above in the picture from the left is me, my Senior HS friend retired Gwinnett PD Major JK “Keybo” Taylor, Jim Harris and Patrick Phillips.
